Before going to Poland on a college trip, I did some research to find places I would like to photograph and came across the Liban Quarry, an old Nazi labour camp near Krakow. After learning as much history about the area as I could, I found my way there, just as it was getting dark and foggy.

East End Life newspaper is being closed down after the Conservative Government has decided to close down council funded newspapers. Employees have worked together for 20 years and are now being made redundant. I spoke to some of the people working there and asked to take a portrait of the individuals that were once part of the news team. Helen is the trade union representative and will be fighting redundancies.
